A wonderful, restful couple of days (ignoring the walk to Wineglass Bay & beach!). Recharged our batteries and loved the roses – the port was a nice touch too. Thank you. All too short a stay.

What a delight it has been to stay here for four nights. We will definitely be telling friends and recommending Swansea as the place the place to stay on the East Coast of Tasmania.

Wagner’s Cottages provides a perfect introduction to Tasmania and an impression that will last for a lifetime. Thanks for setting the stage so well and keep up the good work. Off to explore some more.

Another great relaxing stay, our fourth visit to Tassie, second visit to Wagner’s Cottages; just love Swansea! We’ll be back!
(Melbourne, Victoria – October 2008)
I felt like Beatrix Potter – everyday we would see the visitation of a small ‘Peter Rabbit’ which would nibble plants in the garden! The bird life is also fantastic! We really enjoyed our stay!
(Wynnum, Queensland – September 2008)
I can’t think of anywhere else that has the same feeling of warmth and character – so unlike the usual hotel or resort. We really enjoyed our short time here and could not ask for more – seriously cute cottage, nice little township and the wonders of Freycinet nearby. Thanks so much.
(Canberra, ACT - June 2008)
Wonderfully peaceful and healing… just what we needed! Enjoyed the evening in front of the fire with ‘Bruce the Rooster”!
(Hobart, Tasmania – July 2008)
Weekend away with 8 special friends – all cottages booked out! Ours was beautiful, just delightful with all the thoughtful little extra comforts and the lovely gardens with quiet, peaceful spots to sit. A great place to stay with special memories for us both.
(Cremorne, Tasmania – August 2008)
Pity we were only staying one night. A fabulous wee place. We thought it was pure minted.
(SCOTLAND – August 2008)
Thank goodness we booked for two nights, if it was only one we wouldn’t have been able to enjoy this peaceful, beautiful cottage to its fullness. The spa was a delight after walking all around the Freycinet National Park – just what tired legs needed. We’ll be back in spring/summer to see the gardens in flower. Truly relaxing!
(Black Hills, Tasmania – August 2008).

"What a lovely place to spend our 36th wedding anniversary and my husband’s 65th birthday. Ten wonderful days: spa, fire, port, wine, romance! Who said romance at our age is rare? Not this couple. Enjoyed sitting in the beautiful garden having a glass of wine"

(Launceston, Tasmania, AUSTRALIA – February 2008)
"Writing this at the table at the back porch, bathed in the warm morning sun and serenaded by a host of wildlife as a cool breeze pushes in off the bay. What a wonderful way to discover a piece of Australia that has swiftly become a favourite. We feel a long way from our 22 million fellow residents of Mexico City and that was entirely our aim"
(Milverton, MEXICO – January 2008)

To those who follow, enjoy this cottage as much as we did."
