How to get to Wagner's Estate

We are only a short 2 minutes drive or 20 minute walk from the centre of Swansea.

Travelling from Hobart:

The driving journey from Hobart to Wagner’s Cottages Estate takes approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes over a distance of 133 kilometres along the highly scenic Tasman Highway (A3). Leave Hobart by crossing the Tasman Bridge and follow the highway past the airport to the historic town of Sorell, which serves as an ideal final stop for fuel or supplies. From Sorell, continue on the A3 as the road winds through the rolling hills of the bypass before descending to the coast. You will pass through the seaside towns of Orford and Triabunna before embarking on the final leg of the Great Eastern Drive. This section hugs the coastline, leading you past pristine beaches and local vineyards directly to the southern entrance of Swansea, where the estate is located. 

Travelling from Launceston:

The driving journey from Launceston to Wagner’s Cottages Estate takes approximately 1 hour and 35 minutes over a distance of 133 kilometres. Depart Launceston heading south along the Midland Highway (1), travelling through the heritage-rich plains of the Northern Midlands until you reach Campbell Town. This historic town is the perfect midpoint to stretch your legs and see the 1838 convict-built Red Bridge. Just south of Campbell Town, turn left onto the Lake Leake Highway (B34). This quiet, scenic road cuts across the island through peaceful timber forests and dry bushland before connecting directly with the Tasman Highway (A3) near the coast. Turn right heading south, and you will immediately arrive at the northern entrance of Swansea, where the estate is situated.
